What is MRI?
MRI, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is one of today’s
most sophisticated imaging techniques. MRI is a painless,
non invasive way for physicians to “look inside” the human
body to further diagnose a patient’s condition without
using ionizing radiation or radioactive materials. It
uses a combination of magnetic fields, radio waves and
computers to provide detailed images of organs and
structures within the body.
What is MRA?
MRA, Magnetic Resonance Angiogram, is a specialized MR
that produces detailed two and three dimensional images
to further study blood vessels and blood flow. |
